At Kinrise, we were proud to host LUMA, a dynamic group exhibition curated by AORA’s Jenn Ellis, at our Silbury + East site from 27–26 February 2023. Set within 8,000 sq ft of two historic Old Street warehouses at 49 East Road, London, soon to be transformed into contemporary workspace, LUMA brought together 20 international artists and designers across sculpture, painting and installation, in partnership with leading galleries and supporters. Exploring themes of transition, environment, physicality and emotion, the exhibition reflected the evolving state of Silbury + East itself, engaging with notions of flux and renewal. Through a public programme of talks and performances, LUMA invited visitors to reflect on the shared human experience within spaces of change and transformation.
