Heritage building,
creatively reawakened

Canons Wharf, opened in 1991, reimagined for 2027. This extraordinary building was initially built for Lloyds Bank. The building boasted some extraordinary innovations for its time.

Expansive glazing, river-fed cooling and bold design differentiated the building as an icon in the city of Bristol. Wrapping around Lloyds Amphitheatre, an expansive harbourside space that has become home to some of the city’s more memorable moments, made Canons Wharf a backdrop for the city.

The building is now being reawakened to celebrate its unique features whilst introducing upgrades to make Canons Wharf the destination for Bristol’s most ambitious businesses.

After nearly 40 years, we are honoured to be part of a building with deep roots, originally engineered and designed by Arup Associates in the 1980s as a pioneering example of Total Design.
