We recently had the pleasure of presenting our plans for Canons Wharf and taking part in an inspiring roundtable focused on how we can help nature thrive in Canons Marsh.
Hosted by the team at We The Curious and the West of England Nature Partnership, the session brought together an impressive mix of local businesses, landowners and environmental organisations. The diversity of voices in the room made for rich and thoughtful conversations about the future of this unique part of the city.
Discussions ranged from practical ideas for enhancing blue-green spaces to more ambitious thinking about how the Harbourside could feel more welcoming, vibrant and deeply connected to nature. There was a real sense of shared ambition, alongside honest conversations about the challenges involved in balancing development, ecology and community needs.
What stood out most was the spirit of collaboration. Hearing both bold visions and grounded, realistic perspectives reinforced just how much is possible when organisations come together with creativity and openness. Canons Marsh has huge potential to become a place where people and nature coexist and flourish — and it was exciting to explore what that future could look like.
We’re proud to be part of these conversations and look forward to playing our role in shaping a greener, more generous Canons Marsh for years to come.Â
